parents are the owner of an art studio, Ashwa Arts.
He
with his brother, Tarankit Sharma runs an animation company named Tiara Motion.
Personally, he is a very shy person.
Surya
also appeared as a cameo in the Hollywood comedy of Andrew Di Pardo’s “The Rush Chairman”.
After
trying on the Television shows he decided that he won't want to pursue the same
in the future. After trying for 5 years and 858 attempts he finally got a role in
the web series Hostages.
Later
he got a role in the famous movie ‘Veere di Wedding’
For
the work in the web series ‘Hostages’ he said that it is like dream come true
to work with actors like Tisca Chopra and Ronit Roy and Sudhir Mishra. This series
provide him a new chance to try for the entertainment industry.
He
said he loves his father very much so with the character of Rinku he can't connect
much.
When
he got recognition after the release of ‘Undekhi’ he said –
"I am loving the vibe and
atmosphere. I am a workaholic. I don't go out and socialise, so I don't know
what people really think about me, and I like the fact I don't know."
He said to the media how he got selected,
he stated that –
“I was shooting for ‘Hostages’ in Delhi. One of
the creative heads of the show came to me and told me to meet Siddharth Sen
Gupta (creator of ‘Undekhi’). I met Sidharth sir after a week. That day, he was
shooting in Versova. He called me on the set of ‘Apharan’ and explained to me the
story and the character. Next, I called him and told him my point of view about
the character. I think that was the moment when he thought I was the right
person to play Rinku,”
He is also in an upcoming second season of ‘Hostages’.
